The fun takes place at Montage Mountain on Saturday November 9th, 2024! There are two ticket options, the NEW $55 All Access Pass + GA Entry which includes one hour early entry (12pm – 7pm), front of stage access, PLUS everything that comes with General Admission! The General Admission Pass includes festival entry (1pm – 7pm), beer sampling, and a commemorative tasting glass. Early Bird tickets are on sale now, all beer and music included! Have you ever wanted to know how your beer is made? Well now’s your chance! We’ll have 3 classes included FREE with your ticket that will teach you the history and the art of brewing. Join The Scranton Brewer’s Guild as they teach an insider’s perspective on how the professionals brew their beer, sample some drinks, and explore the art of beer tasting. We offer a classroom setting in the retail building, so stop by, bring your pens and a notepad, and get ready for lessons you don’t want to miss!
Class One: The Unsung Hero Brown Ale!
Brown ales are like the best friend who’s great at dad jokes, with a taste that’s as comforting as a warm blanket on a chilly evening. Join The Scranton brewers Guild as we pay homage to the brown ale, share a dad joke or two, and learn a bit more about this often overlooked style: BOWN ALE.
Class Two: The Mysterious Dunkelweisse
Often overshadowed by the more popular Wheat ale or Weise beer, the Dunkel or Dunkel Weiss is the darker wheat beer that is sought after by those who know how to unlock its mysteries. It’s got a complex flavor profile that’s as enigmatic as a magician’s disappearing act.
Class Three: Shout Out to Stout!
Dark beers offer a variety of complex flavors and experiences from dry and roasty to sweet and boozy, from strong and complex, to light and sessionable. Join the Scranton Brewers Guild as we sample and learn about one of the best-known dark beer styles: STOUT.
